Our Process

How we handle water extraction in Las Vegas

1We trace where the water came from and went

Whether a pipe burst, a line leaked or an appliance overflowed, we find the source and how far the water has spread. With most valley homes built on a concrete slab, standing water has nothing below it to drain into, so it can move outward under baseboards and cabinets and into the carpet.

2We extract the standing water

We pull the standing water off the floor and draw out what the carpet and its pad are holding. The pad soaks up water and holds it against the concrete, so carpet that feels damp on top can be soaked underneath. On tile, water can slip under the baseboards and into the bottom of the drywall behind them.

3We set up drying equipment

Air movers push air across the wet drywall, wood and concrete, and the moisture they lift goes into the room's air. Dehumidifiers pull it back out, and we keep watch on the humidity while they run.

Jay and his team showed care and thoroughness in the performance of their job; all three of them were not only very professional but also courteous in dealing with me (Gerard) and my wife. All our pertinent questions in relation to the damage , being currently attended to, were satisfactory answered. If I’m allowed , I’ll rate them and their performance more than five (5) STARS!!!!

Why Us

Why Las Vegas homeowners call us for water extraction

We are open 24/7

Standing water can keep soaking into the pad and creeping up the drywall while it waits. Call day or night, any day of the year, and our team is on site in under an hour.

We extract and dry

Extraction is one part of water mitigation: work aimed at limiting how far the damage goes and protecting your home and what's in it. Structural drying and dehumidification follow the extraction, so the job does not end when the floor looks dry.

We show you the moisture readings

We take moisture readings under the carpet and along the base of the walls to find water that has traveled past the stain you can see. We walk you through what the readings mean, room by room.

We work with your insurance company

Many insurers ask owners to take reasonable steps to limit further damage, which can include getting standing water out. We work with whichever company insures you, bill them directly and document the extraction fully. Coverage is your insurance company's decision.

Service Areas

We offer water extraction across Las Vegas

Wherever you are in the Las Vegas valley, from Henderson to Enterprise, we come out to extract standing water from homes and businesses.

At about 17 grains per gallon, valley tap water is what the Las Vegas Valley Water District calls very hard. Its minerals can leave scale inside water heaters and supply valves, where many indoor leaks start.

FAQs

Common questions about water extraction in Las Vegas

Straight answers to what people ask us before they call.

Can I get the water up myself with a wet vac?

For a small spill on tile, often yes. Once water soaks into the pad or runs under a baseboard, a wet vac can leave much of it behind to keep spreading. Stay out of any water that may have reached an outlet or a cord.

With the desert air so dry, won't the floor dry out on its own?

Not in most cases. Dry air works on the surface, but water trapped in the pad and inside the lower walls gets little air, and mold can start in materials that stay wet. In monsoon season, the air indoors can turn humid too.

Why is drying equipment still running after the water is gone?

Because the water you could see was only part of it. Some soaked into the drywall, the cabinet bases and the slab, where extraction cannot reach. Our moisture readings guide the drying, not the look of the floor.

Will water extraction stop the leak that caused it?

No. Extraction removes water that has already escaped, so turn off the fixture's supply valve or the main. A plumber deals with the line or appliance that failed, and we deal with the water.

What should I do with furniture sitting on wet carpet?

Carry what you can off the wet area, and set foil or plastic under the legs of heavier pieces. Wood stain and metal feet can mark wet carpet, and a rug can bleed dye into it.
