How we handle mold remediation in Las Vegas
1We inspect and find the source
We look at the growth you found and the materials around it, and we trace the moisture feeding it. Here, that source can be a swamp cooler line leaking into the attic or a supply line dripping inside a wall. Then we walk you through the growth, the source and the plan for the work.
2We contain the work area
Cutting into moldy material can stir spores and dust into the air. We put up containment around the affected area to keep them from drifting into other rooms, and we keep an air scrubber with a HEPA filter running during the work.
3We remove contaminated materials
Inside the containment, we take out drywall, insulation, carpet or baseboards that are wet or contaminated with mold. Porous materials like these can hold growth below the surface, where wiping may not reach.
4We treat the affected area
After the removal, we apply an antimicrobial treatment to the affected area. It goes on the studs, framing and other surfaces left in place, inside the containment, while the air scrubber with its HEPA filter keeps running. Where the growth left a musty smell, we treat the odor too.

Jay and his team showed care and thoroughness in the performance of their job; all three of them were not only very professional but also courteous in dealing with me (Gerard) and my wife. All our pertinent questions in relation to the damage , being currently attended to, were satisfactory answered. If I’m allowed , I’ll rate them and their performance more than five (5) STARS!!!!

Why Las Vegas homeowners call us for mold remediation
We look for the hidden water
Desert air stays dry for most of the year, so mold indoors tends to grow where water collects out of sight. A leak under a concrete slab can go unnoticed longer than one in plain view. Our moisture readings show where hidden water has spread.
Our technicians are IICRC certified
Applied microbial remediation, the IICRC course built around mold work, is one of the certifications our technicians hold. They are also certified in water damage restoration, applied structural drying and odor control.
We handle minor patches and large scale growth
Our mold work runs from a minor patch behind a washer to large-scale growth across an attic. We work for homeowners and businesses alike, and the inspection shows us what your job needs.
We share tips on avoiding mold problems later
Monsoon season can push indoor humidity up, and rooms that had mold before deserve a closer look then. You get advice from us on avoiding future water and mold problems, such as running bathroom fans and checking under sinks.

Common questions about mold remediation in Las Vegas
Straight answers to what people ask us before they call.
Should I scrub or spray the mold myself before you come out?
We'd ask you to leave it alone. Scrubbing, scraping or spraying mold can send spores into the air, and a fan blowing across it can carry them into other rooms. If a leak is still feeding it and you can reach the shutoff valve, turn the water off.
Do we need to move out while you remove the mold?
It depends on the job: where the mold is, how far it has reached and which rooms you need to use. We go over that with you at the inspection and plan the work around your space. If mold is a health worry for anyone at home, ask your doctor.
Will my insurance cover mold remediation?
It depends on your policy and often on what caused the mold, and that call belongs to your insurance company. We talk with them and show you the source we found.
Is a musty smell a sign of hidden mold?
It can be. A musty smell often comes from mold growing somewhere damp and out of sight, like inside a wall or under a vanity. Our inspection checks where that dampness comes from, and when mold is the cause, odor control is part of our work.
Can mold come back after remediation?
It can if moisture returns to the same spot. Our work removes contaminated materials and treats the area, but a new leak or a damp, closed-up room can let mold start again. That is why we track down the water source as well as the growth.
