Our Process

How we handle flood cleanup in Las Vegas

1We come out and assess

We're on site in under an hour to assess what the water reached. Our moisture readings find water that has soaked in out of sight, and they guide the drying plan. We show you what we found and explain the cleanup it calls for.

2We remove the flood water

We extract the water and take out wet materials that can't be dried in place, such as carpet, baseboards, insulation and drywall. Water that came in from outside makes removal more likely, because porous materials it soaks can trap mud and silt. This work is water mitigation, aimed at lessening the damage and protecting the structure and the belongings in it.

3We dry and sanitize

We dry the structure with air movers and dehumidifiers, and we sanitize the surfaces the flood water touched. Air scrubbers with HEPA filtration run while the work goes on. Monsoon storms bring humid air with them, so we track humidity readings until the drying is done.

Jay and his team showed care and thoroughness in the performance of their job; all three of them were not only very professional but also courteous in dealing with me (Gerard) and my wife. All our pertinent questions in relation to the damage , being currently attended to, were satisfactory answered. If I’m allowed , I’ll rate them and their performance more than five (5) STARS!!!!

Why Us

Why Las Vegas homeowners call us for flood cleanup

We handle all flood sizes

We take on small floods and large ones, from water that crept in under one door to a flood that spread through several rooms. The water might come from monsoon runoff, a burst pipe or a washing machine that overflowed, and we clean up after each.

We work with your insurance company

We work with any insurance company you have and bill them directly. A policy can treat storm water from outside and a burst pipe as different kinds of loss, so we document everything fully: where the water came from, how far it went and what we removed. Your insurance company decides which kind of loss you have and what your policy covers.

We talk you through each stage

We explain the work as it happens: which materials the flood water soaked, what has to come out and how the drying is going. You see the moisture readings too, so you know when a room is dry.

Flood cleanup for homes and businesses

We clean up flood water in homes and businesses. When a desert thunderstorm sends runoff down the street, a shop or an office can take on water the same way a house does.

FAQs

Common questions about flood cleanup in Las Vegas

Straight answers to what people ask us before they call.

Is storm water from outside different from a burst pipe?

It can be. Water from a broken supply line starts out clean, while water that runs in from outside has crossed yards and streets and can carry mud and debris. Either way, our flood cleanup includes sanitation as well as water removal and drying.

The valley has flood channels, so how did water get inside?

Runoff from a heavy downpour can cross a yard and get under a door before it reaches a storm drain. The Clark County Regional Flood Control District's 722 miles of storm drains and channels and 113 detention basins move and hold runoff once it gets to them.

Water is coming in under the door. What should I do?

Move rugs, papers and small belongings off the floor where it is safe to walk, and keep out of any room where water has reached outlets or cords. A rolled towel or a sandbag at the door can slow what comes in until the storm passes.

Can you come out at night if a storm floods the house?

Yes. Flood water doesn't keep business hours, and neither do we: we're open 24/7, nights and holidays included. Once you call, we're on site in under an hour to look at the water with you.

Can flood water cause mold in the house?

It can. Mold can grow where materials stay wet, such as the bottom of a wall or inside a cabinet. Mold remediation is one of our services, so if we find growth during a flood cleanup, we show it to you and explain the work it needs.
