How we handle lead abatement in Las Vegas
1Tell us what you're planning
Call or send the form and tell us where the painted surfaces are and what you plan to do, such as a kitchen remodel, new windows or a demolition. If other old materials worry you too, mention them, because older buildings can hold asbestos as well.
2We look at the area and plan the work
We look at the painted surfaces with you, go over what we found and walk you through the plan before anything is disturbed. The inspection and the estimate are free.
3We set up containment
We set up containment around the work area to keep dust from spreading to the rest of the building.
4We do the abatement we planned with you
We follow health and safety guidelines to protect you and our team, and we walk you through each step as the work goes.

Jay and his team showed care and thoroughness in the performance of their job; all three of them were not only very professional but also courteous in dealing with me (Gerard) and my wife. All our pertinent questions in relation to the damage , being currently attended to, were satisfactory answered. If I’m allowed , I’ll rate them and their performance more than five (5) STARS!!!!

Common questions about lead abatement in Las Vegas
Straight answers to what people ask us before they call.
Does my home have lead paint?
If it was built before 1978, it may. That year the US banned lead-based paint in homes, so older layers under newer coats can still contain lead. You can't tell by looking, and a lab test of a paint sample is what shows it. Until you know, don't sand, scrape or heat old paint.
Why does lead paint matter before a remodel?
Paint that stays intact is less of a concern. Sanding, scraping, cutting or tearing out painted surfaces turns the paint into dust and chips, and that dust is what makes lead paint a hazard. That's why we plan the work before the project starts.
Can you handle lead and asbestos on the same project?
Yes. We handle lead abatement and asbestos abatement, so an older building with both can be planned as one job. When you call, tell us about every material you're unsure of.
Can my family stay home while you work?
We work that out with you when we plan the job. Keep children, anyone pregnant and pets away from the containment while the work goes on. If you have a health question, ask your doctor.
Will my insurance pay for lead abatement?
It depends on your policy and why the work is needed. A planned remodel is a different question from damage after a leak or a fire, and your insurance company decides what the policy covers. We work with all insurance companies and help you with the claim.
Do you work on rentals and businesses?
Yes. We work on homes and businesses, including rental units and commercial spaces. Tell us about the building and the project, and we'll plan the visit around it.
