Our Process

How a mold inspection works in Las Vegas

1Tell us what you found

Call or send the form and tell us what you're seeing or smelling: spots on a wall, a musty closet, a stain on the ceiling below a bathroom. If a leak is still running and you can reach the shutoff valve, turn the water off.

2We look at the growth and the materials around it

We check the area you found and the drywall, baseboards, carpet and cabinets next to it, because mold often reaches further than the spot you can see.

3We find the moisture behind it

Mold indoors grows where water sits. We take moisture readings to find where that water is coming from and how far it has spread, whether that's a dripping supply line inside a wall or a swamp cooler line leaking into the attic.

4We walk you through what we found

We show you the growth, the source and the affected areas, and explain the remediation work the job needs: containment, removing contaminated materials and treating the area. The inspection and the estimate are free, and you decide what happens next.

Jay and his team showed care and thoroughness in the performance of their job; all three of them were not only very professional but also courteous in dealing with me (Gerard) and my wife. All our pertinent questions in relation to the damage , being currently attended to, were satisfactory answered. If I’m allowed , I’ll rate them and their performance more than five (5) STARS!!!!

Why Us

Why Las Vegas homeowners call us for a mold inspection

The inspection is free

There's no charge for us to come out, look at the growth and find the source, and the estimate for any work is free too.

We look for the hidden water

Desert air stays dry most of the year, so indoor mold usually means water is collecting out of sight. Our moisture readings show where it has spread, including under flooring and inside walls.

Our technicians are IICRC certified

Applied microbial remediation, the IICRC course built around mold work, is one of the certifications our technicians hold, along with water damage restoration and applied structural drying.

One team from inspection to remediation

If the inspection shows the job needs remediation, the same team handles the containment, the removal and the treatment, and you keep one named contact throughout. We work with all insurance companies, bill them directly and document what we found.

Service Areas

We offer mold inspection across Las Vegas

We take on mold remediation in homes and businesses throughout the Las Vegas valley, Henderson and Enterprise included.

Hard water across the valley can build scale on valves and fittings, and a slow drip from one can keep a wall damp long enough for mold to grow.

FAQs

Common questions about mold inspection in Las Vegas

Straight answers to what people ask us before they call.

Is the mold inspection really free?

Yes. Coming out, looking at the growth and finding the source costs nothing, and so does the estimate for any work it needs.

Do you test for mold or take air samples?

No. Our inspection is a look at the growth and the materials around it, plus moisture readings to find the water feeding it. If you need lab testing, for a sale or a doctor for example, that's done by a separate testing company.

Should I clean the mold before you come out?

We'd ask you to leave it alone. Scrubbing or spraying mold can send spores into the air. If a leak is still feeding it and you can reach the shutoff valve, turn the water off.

What happens after the inspection?

We walk you through the growth, the source and the affected areas, and give you a free estimate for the remediation. You decide whether to go ahead, and we work with your insurance company if the loss is covered.
